A wholesome development depends upon  the harmony of body  and mind.  To achieve this we will be providing  a varied range of activities.

Creative Arts & Physical Education
Creative Arts:   A syllabus has been planned so that children from the primary section  onwards learn to appreciate the arts.  They will be exposed to tabla, Indian dance, painting, choreography, Indian and Western vocal music and much more.

We are aware that aptitude, talent and skills in the various fine arts differ quite widely from child to child. While some may be lucky to discover their talent, we desire that every child should at least get an opportunity to discover their own aptitude and interest. Hence, Fine Arts are an intrinsic part of education at Vidya Valley. A syllabus has been planned so that children from the primary section onwards learn to appreciate the arts.

Fine Art & Painting:
All students of Vidya Valley are expected to appear for the Elementary and Intermediate exam in painting, conducted by the State government.

Tabla & Indian dance:
All the children from Standard IV & V have to learn either the Tabla or Dance depending on their preference. Knowledge and appreciation of rhythm is important from a young age.

For those children who exhibit special talent or skills, we provide advanced classes in these arts right up to Std X.

Art & Choreography :
Children who do not opt for advanced Tabla or Dance have the option of learning a variety of different art forms or free-form dance.

Indian & English Vocal:
Every child, from Standard I onwards is taught the rudiments of Indian vocal music. This not only teaches children voice modulation, but also helps them to learn the language.

Indian & Western Choir:
Children who exhibit special talent for singing are included in the school choir. We have separate choirs for Indian music and Western music. The school choirs perform at various inter-school events.
