100% results for the third consecutive year
To all the children of Std 10: Congratulations on a job well done! The school is proud of all of you. I have complete faith that all you will do better and better over the years.
A special mention of Rohin Shah. His achievement is beyond the dreams of even his teachers! 99% in Environment Studies and 97% in Compter Applications is incredibly good!
Special mention also of Shruti Bhatte Patil. She managed a very creditable score in the ICSE exams and also a selection for the India Team for the Commonwealth Youth Games of 2008. To be able to overcome both these challenges at the same time is the kind of achievement that Vidya Valley will cherish forever.
My special pride is in the fact that my children took their exams in their stride. The exams did not become a frustrating obsession and they enjoyed their last year at school with full involvement in sports and cultural activities. This ability of handling multiple challenges is a quality that will stand them in good stead through out their lives.
Congratulations to all my teachers. I know of the efforts you have put in to your work. I also appreciate your personal involvement in the well-being of the children. The spirit you inculcate in the children makes Vidya Valley a very special school.
